Based in San Diego, John M. Rogitz is a registered patent attorney specializing in high tech areas including computer software, consumer electronics, and medical devices. He also writes for two prominent intellectual property publications and regularly appears as a lecturer on intellectual property at a local university. Before practicing patent law, John was engaged in civil litigation at a San Diego-based law firm. John also worked in the tech industry as a web programmer prior to entering the legal field.
In addition to being Vice President of FLAG, John serves as President of the San Diego Federalist Society and Vice President of the Republican National Lawyers Association’s San Diego chapter. He has also been a contributor to many prominent media outlets, including Townhall.com, and even operated his own opinion site called the Rogue Report. John has also worked on campaigns for Congress and appeared on numerous political talk shows.
